La Palma Raised Relief Topographic 3D Map

Our 3D raised relief map of La Palma  island has been created using several layers of cardstock giving it a unique texture that can both be seen and felt to the touch.  

Each layer represents a true elevation contour of a height of 200 meters starting from the shoreline at zero meters above the sea level. As the elevation increases, the layers get darker culminating in black at the highest level of the island.

Each layer has been carefully laid and hand pasted to recreate the complex and fascinating volcanic terrain of La Palma.

The island’s topography has undergone some changes since 2021 due to the eruption of the new volcano, Tajogaite. These changes are reflected here and Tajogaiste’s peak is visible on our map of La Palma serving as a reminder of the island's ever changing landscape. 

The map is sold unframed, has no text and is mounted on an anthracite grey cardstock A4 size (slightly taller and narrower than Letter Size).
